    Born in an era when African stories were told by the western world from a myopic perspective, Theo Akatugba swiftly understood the massive influence which media technology posses, haven seen Africans become stigmatized as a result of the proliferation of negative films about Africans and their purported barbaric cultures.

    Against this backdrop, Akatugba became ablaze with an unquenchable desire to tell the African story from an African standpoint, thus informing the commencement of his glorious journey into the world of media. Akatugba the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Point Blank Media Concept Ltd and the President of Creative Land School of Media Arts, a media mogul by every standard, instructively went for a degree in Marketing and a diploma in Theater Arts. Following this insightful rear combination of academic disciplines, Akatugba was ready to produce and market his TV programmes to the entire world.

    Akatugba, a role model which most potential media practitioners would envy, says "I have a passion to affect people in distant lands. I get fascinated by audio visual and its power to affect people beyond ones immediate environment and that's why I took advantage of it to reach out to as many people as possible."

    Though born and bread in a continent frosted with political and economic turmoil, Akatugba defiled all anti-progressive phenomenon that characterize the continent to build from near nothing, a media outfit whose repertoire of programmes have continued to resonate across the African horizon, bringing rays of hope and joy to countless number of families in Africa . "It took me two years to build a stable media outfit which today is at the forefront of producing TV programme that is helping to portray the continent of Africa in a positive way." says the media icon.

    In line with his philosophy that (FILM AND TELEVISION) the most powerful tool of societal transformation and orientation must not be left in the hands of people not fit to tell the African story, Akatugba who left his home land, Delta and Lagos State of Nigeria where he resided for many years and chucked many successes with outstanding credits to become resident in Accra Ghana, On arrival in Ghana in February 2001, began his media activities with the production and presentation of Movie Extra on TOP Radio, was appointed General manager of the Radio where, later moved on to become the General Manager of Choice FM while he continued to produce and present Movie Extra which at this time was now on Choice FM. Mr. Akatugba in the year 2002 established Point Blank Media Concepts Ltd. This company began operation with the importation of TV programmes from Nigeria and the world into Ghana and in 2003 began the production of Local production with Tentacle a programme which soon became the most syndicated TV soap opera in Africa and since then have produced many more and continue to do so.

    In the year 2009 established Creative Land School of Film and Media Arts in Accra Ghana. He says "At Creative Land we believe that if the film and media tool is handled by persons with the required training we can be sure of a secured and better future." He also added that his major goal is to be able to "affect the film industry with the establishment of a proper distribution network and cause a massive improvement in how films are made in Africa as well as train and orientate African government on how to protect their boarders and air ways from negative foreign media.

    Wondering what his recipe for success is "my recipe for success is 'Nothing is impossible'" Theo Akatugba is married with children and he loves reading and travelling and is very charitable.

    Miss TORISHE VIVIENNE SCOTT-EMUAKPOR, was recruited and Joined Point Blank media Concepts Ltd in Lagos Nigeria in the year 2007, after a few months with the Lagos office went to Malawi to study the Media terrain and start the operations of the company in that country.
